Unlike Japanese Sashimi, which is served sliced, with sauces and spices on the side, a "Cave Man's Sashimi" is simpler and doesn't require much in the way of tools or preparation.
When preparing fish, always clean and gut your fish as soon as possible after catching it. If you've caught it yourself, be sure to put the freshly caught fish on ice immediately.
Aside from those simple instructions on safe fish handling, the rest of the recipe goes like this:
1) Fillet the fish.
2) Cut flesh off of skin.
3) Eat flesh of fish.
4) For spices and sauces, grab bottle of soy sauce and sprinkle over chunks before eating.
5) Wash hands and face before returning to "Cave Wife", and be sure to wipe your bare feet on the grass before entering.
For safe handling of delicate situations with "Cave Wife", be sure to save the belly of the fish for the wife as a peace offering for having gone fishing all day instead of taking out the trash and clearing the bushes around the cave.
